On August 27, 2014, CDC Senior Scientist William Thompson admitted (via a statement on his attorney's website) that he and others deliberately omitted "statistically significant information" contained in a study on the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine from a 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics.
The referenced study suggested that children who received the vaccine prior to the age of 36 months had a significant chance of developing autism. In particular, the frequency of occurrence is significantly higher in African-American boys.
The safety of the MMR vaccine has been in question (ironically) since the release of the Lancet Paper in 1998. Conducted by UK gastroenterologist Dr. Andrew Wakefield, professor Walker Smith, and Dr. Simon Murch, the case series examined the changes in overall health condition before and after a child received the MMR vaccine.
MMR is a combined vaccination that is supposed to be more efficient as it works as three vaccinations in one. Wakefield concluded, as did the Cochrane Review, that this vaccine did not undergo proper safety testing before it was released for use. He recommended the single vaccines instead because the safety testing was far better. Shortly after his recommendation, the manufacturer took the off the market.
You might be wondering why the CDC saw fit to conceal this information for well over 12 years. Why are black boys not being protected? How is it possible that the CDC has gone basically unchecked? Part of the reason is that, under the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act, civilians may not sue pharmaceutical companies who manufacturer vaccines. Another recalls the memory of the Tuskegee Experiment where Black men were targeted then as well.
Apparently, the CDC takes care of its own. Recently, Thompson was subpoenaed to testify in a medical malpractice suit which the CDC blocked. (Read more on that here.) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. discusses the presence of mercury in vaccines and flu shots and also exposes corruption within the CDC vaccine division in this statement:
Long-time activists are demanding that Thompson, who has worked at the CDC since 1998, be called before Congress and be made to testify to what he knows about the study. A movie, called "Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Catastrophe" chronicles the cover-up while exposing the risks of using vaccines.
Producer Del Bigtree (formerly of the tv talk show "The Doctors"), producer Polly Tommey, Minister Tony Muhammad (West Coast Regional Representative of the Nation of Islam), and other members of the "Vaxxed" movement are touring the country holding viewings of the movie in affected communities.
Calls to action include writing letters to government representatives to expose the cover-up, demand safer vaccines, and to uphold the rights of parents to make informed decisions about their children's health. The "Vaxxed" movie is making these four requests to ensure the manufacturing of safe vaccines:
- That Congress subpoena Dr. William Thompson and investigate the CDC fraud.
- That Congress repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act and hold manufacturers liable for injury caused by their vaccines.
- That the single measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine be made available immediately.
- That all vaccines be classified as pharmaceutical drugs and tested accordingly.
